Ara: The dead body of a 45-year-old sand trader has been found in an orchard on the banks of Son river in Bishunpur village under Chandi police station area of the district. Bhojpur Friday morning District. A blood-stained shovel was found near the body, indicating its use in the murder.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jitan Singh, a resident of Bishunpur under Chandi police station area of the district. Enraged by the murder, the local people blocked the road near Bishunpur and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. They lifted the blockade after senior police officials assured them of a thorough investigation into the matter and arresting the accused at the earliest.
Chandi SHO Saurabh Kumar said, “Prima facie it appears to be a dispute between two villagers over a minor issue, which led to the death of one. The relatives of the deceased are yet to register a case in this regard. However, We are probing.” Case; Further investigation will reveal more facts about the case.”
