During a recent interview on a Pakistani chat show ‘Life Green Hai’, actress Nawal Saeed made a shocking revelation about Pakistani cricketers and it left many wondering if she was hinting at Shoaib, who took everyone by surprise when he announced on 20 January 2024 via a social media post that he tied the knot with actress Sana Javed.
During the interview with Aijaz Aslam and Nadia Khan, Nawal revealed that she receives DMs from many cricketers. However, she left everyone shocked when she hinted that she had got texts even from married/committed cricketers. One of the hosts then asked her if Pakistani cricketer Naseem Shah was one of them. However, she laughed it off. Then the host took Shoaib Malik’s name, but Nawal once again dodged the question and started laughing.
However, Nawal did not seem very impressed with cricketers sliding into her DMs. “Appreciate ki baat nahi hai. Mujhe sirf ye lagta hai ki cricketers should not be doing that. Actors se zyada log cricketers/sportsman ko idolise karte hai. So if people consider you to be so big… (you should not be doing that),” she added.
When asked about the context of the texts, Nawal said, “I don’t want to talk about it anymore.” This made a section of the internet wonder if Shoaib actually sent her “flirty” DMs.
Meanwhile, Shoaib celebrated her new wife Sana Javed’s 31st birthday recently. The actress took to her Instagram handle to share a series of mushy pics with him. The actress captioned her post as, “Just the two of us (rose emoji) Thank you for the lovely birthday husband (heart emoji) @realshoaibmalik.”
However, the photos didn’t go down well with Sania Mirza fans, who trolled the actress in the comment section. One fan wrote, “We hate you.” Another one said, “The most hated couple in 2024.”
Sania had tied the knot with Shoaib in Hyderabad in 2010. Their Walima ceremony was held in Sialkot, Pakistan. They welcomed a baby boy in 2018 and named him Izhaan Mirza Malik.
In January this year, Sania’s team issued a statement, confirming that the two had been separated for a few months, calling for fans to not indulge in any speculation.
