Korihara village falls in Lalganj tehsil of Rae Bareli district. Raghavendra was a resident of this place. 3 bullets hit, raghavendra ran to save limping Umesh
During treatment in the hospital for 6 days, Raghavendra regained consciousness intermittently. Then he would tell Gyanendra the whole situation during the shootout. Gyanendra says “Opening the back door of the car, Umesh started walking towards the house. Suddenly a bullet hit him on the waist. He immediately ran towards the street. The shooters were firing at him. Meanwhile, when Bhaiya came forward to save him , So he got hit by 3 bullets one after the other.”

Raghavendra’s friends informed his family at 8 pm. The whole house reached Prayagraj in the night itself amidst chaos. However, Gyanendra Swaroop Rani was not satisfied with the work of the hospital administration. He still believes that if Raghavendra had been directly admitted to Lucknow SGPGI instead of Prayagraj, his brother might have been alive today.

Gyanendra said, “We reached Swaroop Rani Hospital late at night. There the CMO of the hospital told us that Bhaiya was kept in the ICU ward. But the place did not look like an ICU ward at all. Bhaiya was lying on a stretcher, flies were buzzing on his wound. Were.”

There was some improvement in his condition on 28 February. Raghavendra was in full consciousness during this time. Responding to family matters. It seemed that Bhaiya would get well now, but till night the infection spread in his right lung. Doctors operated on him when his condition became critical. He died of a heart attack on the evening of March 1 at around 5.40 pm.

Sister left studies after Raghavendra’s death, mother’s health deteriorated
Raghavendra’s family is broken after the death of the elder son. Sister Archana has dropped her graduation this year to take care of her mother. Brother Gyanendra is currently doing a private job in Rae Bareli.

Gyanendra says“Brothers were always worried about my job and my sisters’ education. After father’s departure, he used to send money for home’s ration-water and work. After his departure, thinking how all this would be managed, my mind used to panic. Seems like.”
