Hello,

The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Government of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu for not screening the film The Kerala Story. The court asked that when the film is running all over the country, what is the problem with both the states? Why is the film not being allowed to run? The film should be left to the audience whether they want to watch the film or not.

Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who is fighting the case on behalf of the Bengal government, said that the state had received a report from the intelligence that if the film is screened, there could be a problem of law and order in the state. On this the court said – West Bengal is not different from the country.

On the other hand, the Allahabad High Court has ordered carbon dating of the alleged Shivling found in the Gyanvapi mosque. The court asked the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to survey the upper part of the Shivling. Do not take more than ten grams of it. Through carbon dating, it has to be ascertained how old the alleged Shivling recovered is. Is it really a Shivling or something else.
