Rajkot: 45 year old teacher Mangrol Taluka Of Junagadh district A case was registered on Monday for allegedly having unnatural sex with his student, a 17-year-old boy, on July 3 in Rajkot’s Gondal town.
According to the complaint lodged at Gondal City Police Station, the teacher took the boy to a guest house near Gondal bus station and allegedly raped him.
Police said the victim and the accused came in contact with each other on a WhatsApp group and started exchanging personal messages. The accused invited the minor boy to Rajkot to attend a function organized on the eve of Ashadhi Bij. The boy agreed and reached Gondal. While returning from the function, the duo stopped at a guest house in Gondal where the boy was allegedly raped by the accused.
The teacher was booked under sections 377 (unnatural sex), 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
