Amitabh Kant, Sherpa of the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting that started in Kashmir on May 22, said – There can be no better place than Kashmir for shooting films. Apart from boosting the economy, our focus is also on increasing film tourism. The government will also help in finding the location of the filmmakers coming here, to shift the location.
China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia and Egypt are not participating in this meeting. On the other hand, other foreign delegates who reached Srinagar on May 22 were welcomed by Kashmiri girls in traditional costumes at the airport.
The G20 meeting is being held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center from May 22 to May 24.
Actor Ram Charan danced on Natu-Natu with the delegates
Film actor Ramcharan Teja, who arrived as a guest in the meeting, danced with the delegates on the famous song ‘Natu-Natu’ from his film RRR. He said- There is some magic in Kashmir. I have been here many times since 1986. My father used to come to Gulmarg and Sonamarg to shoot films. I myself came here in 2016 for a shoot.

India said- Tourism Working Group will see how is heaven on earth
Earlier, Chief Coordinator of G-20 Indian Presidency, Harshvardhan Shringla had said – Delegates attending this meeting will be able to come here and see what heaven on earth is like.
This meeting of the Tourism Working Group will be held from May 22 to 24. According to a report, the youth of Kashmir are confident that after this meeting, the number of foreign tourists in Kashmir will increase rapidly.
The foreign delegates were accorded a traditional welcome at the Srinagar airport.
Booster dose to local economy
- The local administration is confident that the local economy will get a power booster dose through this meeting.
- Jammu and Kashmir’s handloom industry, Pashmina shawls and dry fruit business will get a new dimension. More than this is the tourism sector. This is the reason why the Central Government and the local administration worked tirelessly day and night to make this meeting a success.
- Guests coming here will also be shown that peace has been restored in the valley and now it is completely safe for tourists coming from every part of the world.

- On May 21, the NIA arrested Mohammad Ubaid Malik, an over ground worker of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. After this, the program to take foreign guests to Gulmarg has been cancelled.
- According to the NIA, Ubaid is a resident of Kupwara. He was in constant touch with the Jaish commander sitting in Pakistan. Investigation has revealed that he was sending information about the movement of security forces besides secret information to the Jaish commander.

Apart from G20 countries, India has also invited guests from Bangladesh, Mauritius, Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain. At the same time, UN, IMF, World Bank, WHO, WTO, ILO, FSB, OECD, AU Chair, NEPAD Chair, ASEAN Chair, ADB, ISA and CDRI have also been invited in international organizations.
