Amitabh Kant, Sherpa of the G20 Tourism Working Group meeting that started in Kashmir on May 22, said – There can be no better place than Kashmir for shooting films. Apart from boosting the economy, our focus is also on increasing film tourism. The government will also help in finding the location of the filmmakers coming here, to shift the location.

China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia and Egypt are not participating in this meeting. On the other hand, other foreign delegates who reached Srinagar on May 22 were welcomed by Kashmiri girls in traditional costumes at the airport.

Earlier, Chief Coordinator of G-20 Indian Presidency, Harshvardhan Shringla had said – Delegates attending this meeting will be able to come here and see what heaven on earth is like.
This meeting of the Tourism Working Group will be held from May 22 to 24. According to a report, the youth of Kashmir are confident that after this meeting, the number of foreign tourists in Kashmir will increase rapidly.
