Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Friday, Article 370 has ended in Jammu and Kashmir. Now a new Jammu and Kashmir is being formed. Remembering Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mukherjee on his death anniversary, he said that when Article 370 was implemented here, he had opposed it and said that 2 legislations, 2 marks and 2 leaders will not work in this country.

He also attacked the ongoing meeting of more than 15 opposition parties in Bihar. Said, photo session is going on in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Politicians are only getting their photographs clicked. Opposition parties cannot challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Shah said, today is Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s martyrdom day. The whole country knows that it is because of him that Bengal is with India today. Referring to Mukherjee’s Satyagraha movement, he said that he had reached Jammu and Kashmir in 1953 while doing the Satyagraha movement against Article 370.

Here he was falsely arrested. We all know that he was murdered. But now Article-370 is over. His dream has come true. May his soul have found peace.

Terrorist incidents reduced by 70 percent under NDA rule
Shah said, there were 60,327 terrorist incidents during the ten years of UPA rule. There have been 70 percent less terrorist incidents in the nine years of NDA rule. In the 47 months following the abrogation of Article 370, there were only 32 calls for hartal, while stone pelting dropped by 90 per cent.

He said, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir have taken laptops and books in place of stones.
