Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor has shared an interesting anecdote related to the shooting of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Taal song ‘Kahin Aag Lag Jaye’. Before making his acting debut with the 2003 film Ishq Vishk, Shahid was a background dancer. In a recent chat, Shahid talked about shooting for the popular 90s song and called it “the worst and best day of my life at that time”.

Shahid recalled that he met with a bike accident on the way to the shoot. “Nobody knows this, but I had an accident that day. I used to ride my bike and I fell off. So, I remember being very nervous on the sets because I had fallen and I was thinking, what just happened to me? And this happened to me that day. I will always remember it as both the worst and the best day of my life at that time,” he shared on Radio Nasha.

On the work front, Shahid is currently gearing up for the release of his action thriller Bloody Daddy directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film featured Shahid in a never-seen-before avatar of an action hero who kills several goons for a drug shipment during one night. Bloody Daddy will release on JioCinema on June 9.

Talking about preparing for the role, Shahid told us, “I am a very lean guy, unless I take some very heavy external support, I don’t think I can become huge. I think age with, I’ve leant more because I think it’s so supple. And, I think action and performance is a lot about movement and fluidity. The kind of action I enjoy as well Kind of like that. When you see Jackie Chan in action, it’s very fluid. I’m a dancer. I started in dance so movement is a big part of my life. I’m not that muscular where it’s restricting my movement or there’s a certain type of structure that seems unreliable to most people.”
