Shahid Kapoor says he enjoyed doing action in Bloody Daddy – Times of India

Actor Shahid Kapoor-starrer “Bloody Daddy” is all set for a direct-to-digital release on June 9. The action film is directed by “Tiger Zinda Hai” fame Ali Abbas Zafar.
“I am happy that the teaser of our film is out, I am in London to shoot my second film,” Zafar said via video conference.

The release date of the film was announced at an event by Geo Studios called Infinite Together.
Jyoti Deshpande, President, RIL Media & Content Business, said, “We have taken a very big special film with a very big actor, big director, spent a lot of money on it and we are going to have an OTT release. ”

Presented by Jio Studios in association with Zafar’s AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment and The Vermilion World, the film is billed as a “stylish relentless action-packed ride”.

Kapoor said that he enjoyed doing the action onscreen.

“It was great fun. I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well. But doing something, on OTT, what do you do on the big screen?

Kapoor also said that her experience in dance helped her understand action choreography better.

“Dance involves a lot of choreography, I started dancing at the age of 15. I can remember things fast. When we did the film, unfortunately, we had a lot of issues due to COVID. The action directors were not from here, some of them were from London, Hollywood, and they are used to a lot of rehearsals.

He said, “There were visa issues, they came in and thought it would be a disaster, but because I’ve danced a lot, I can actually do it (action). It helped us. When you do action, Then you lose.” One kilo a day, so it’s really tough but you have to look really buff, I don’t know how Tiger (Shroff) does it,” he said.

The makers also gave a sneak peek into the world of ‘Bloody Daddy’.
