Shah Rukh Khan and Dhoni tease Yuvraj Singh with Deepika Padukone.
Shahrukh Khan once teased MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh in the name of Deepika Padukone in a special cricket show.
There was a time when Deepika Padukone’s name was linked with MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. Both the cricketers often teased each other with her and also made public jokes about the link-up rumours. At one point even Shah Rukh Khan got into the fun and teased both the cricketers along with Deepika. In an old video from a special cricket show that Shah Rukh was hosting, the superstar invited Dhoni on stage and teased him with Dipika.
“I want to tell you that I am working with a heroine named Deepika, maybe you haven’t heard of her,” Shah Rukh teased.
Shahrukh said, “Yes, yes, Yuvi knows her, she is his sister.” The song with me was called ‘Aankhon Mein Teri’. We used to start singing and she would suddenly change the words. She used to start singing the song of another film. (She used to sing) mahi ve,” scoffed Shah Rukh. Dhoni took it as a sport and replied, “That’s the way…”

On the work front, Deepika is busy with multiple projects. She was last seen in the blockbuster film Pathan opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which released earlier this year. She has reunited with the film’s director Siddharth Anand to film for Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. She also has the project K with Prabhas and The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan. She recently also made headlines when she attended the reunion of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ranbir Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur as the film completed 10 years.
Meanwhile, Dhoni also made news for his IPL 2023 win. He was captaining the Chennai Super Kings.
