‘Shaitaan’: Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer receives AN overwhelming response from midnight shows | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan‘s ‘Shaitaan‘ is making all the right noises at the box office. After opening WITH double digits at the ticket counter, the Vikas Bahl directorial witnessed a surge in earnings on its first Saturday.
However, the number might just peak further as a lot of cinema halls and multiplexes in Mumbai have added midnight shows from Saturday, March 9.Late-night screenings, starting at 11:55 pm, are widespread in various theatres across Mumbai at present. Multiplexes such as Cinepolis Andheri, Maison Inox BKC, and MovieMax Mira Road have even incorporated shows as late as 11:59 pm.
According to Bollywood Hungama, there are two shows set to commence at 11:59 pm in Cinepolis Viviana Mall in Thane, and notably, both are experiencing a surge in bookings.
‘Shaitaan’ is a remake of the 2023 Gujarati-language film ‘Vash’. In the film, Madhavan plays the role of a man who enters the holiday home of Ajay and Jyotika’s characters while they’re on vacation. He then casts a spell on their daughter and takes her under his control.
Recently, the makers hosted a special screening on March 7, which witnessed the attendance of the cast members and their families. Among the attendees were prominent figures from the film fraternity, including Kartik Aaryan, Vatsal Seth, Vikas Bahl, and Aanand L Rai among others. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film was released on March.
