A heart-wrenching accident has happened in Patiala, Punjab. Here the Scorpio, which was racing with each other, hit the cyclist. The collision was so severe that the head of the cyclist was severed from the neck.

Navdeep who lost his life in the accident was returning home from work
According to preliminary investigation by the police, Navdeep Kumar (42), a resident of Tafjalpura in Patiala, was returning home around 10.15 pm. He used to set up coffee stalls at parties. Even at night he was returning after loading the coffee machine on his bicycle. Meanwhile, a white colored Scorpio hit him from behind on Nabha Road. The torso of the young man was lying there but the head was missing.
Police reached the accused by the traces of blood on the road
As soon as the incident was reported, the police swung into action. Police found blood and tire marks on the road. Chasing them, the police reached Harjinder Nagar from the accident site. Where the police found Scorpio parked. His number plate was broken. Through the chassis number, the police traced the owner and reached his house.
The young man was crushed by this Scorpio vehicle.
At the time of the accident, they were creating a ruckus by playing songs in a loud voice.
During investigation, it was found that Sukhman Singh, a resident of Sidhu Colony, Patiala, was driving the Scorpio that caused the accident. Police say that Sukhman was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. There were 2 more boys with him. Those who were making a lot of hue and cry. He had also started singing in a loud voice. The police is in the process of naming those accused as well.
The family said – were racing, took the head with them
In this case Sanjeev, brother of deceased Navdeep, said that the accused were racing between Bolero and Scorpio. Meanwhile, the cycle of his brother Navdeep Kumar was hit. He alleged that the accused had deliberately taken his brother’s head with them.

DSP Jaswinder Tiwana of Patiala Police said that in the preliminary investigation, it seems that Navdeep’s head got stuck in the vehicle. Which the young man later threw somewhere. CCTV footage of the incident has been found. Police has also received footage of the incident. Soon the accused will be arrested and the head will be searched. After the arrest of Sukhman, the whole matter will be revealed.
