Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia could not meet his ailing wife even after getting bail. He reached home on Saturday morning to meet wife Seema Sisodia. However, before his arrival, his wife’s health worsened, after which she was admitted to the hospital.

The court had allowed Sisodia to go home and meet his wife between 10 am and 5 pm on Saturday, but the court did not allow him to go to the hospital. Because of this, despite getting bail, Sisodia could not meet his wife.

The Delhi High Court, while allowing Sisodia to meet his wife, said that he would remain in police custody throughout.

Sisodia reached home under police security
Justice Dinesh Sharma’s bench had ordered Tihar Jail Superintendent to take Sisodia to his home. According to a senior jail official, Sisodia was taken home under police security around 9 am. He has to return to jail at 5 pm.

The court has also said that Sisodia will not talk to the media, use mobile or internet during this period. Nor will he meet any other member except the family.

rouse avenue court extended custody till july 6
Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody has been extended till July 6 in the liquor policy case. The Rouse Avenue Court has asked the CBI to submit copies of all documents including the charge sheet and supplementary charge sheet filed against Sisodia.

Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 in the liquor policy case. On March 9, the ED took him into its custody. ED has filed a 2100 page supplementary charge sheet against him. At the same time, CBI has already filed the charge sheet.
