Snapchat introduces AI chatbot
Snapchat also announced the launch of an experimental AI-powered chatbot customized for the company called MyAI.
Visual messaging app Snapchat has crossed 200 million monthly active users in India and 120 million of them watch content on the platform, parent company Snap Inc said on Tuesday.

“Snapchat reaches over 200 million monthly active users in India,” Snap Inc said in a statement.
The visual messaging app has over 750 million monthly active users globally, with 90 percent of users in the 18-24 age group.

Snap said that more than 120 million Indians are now viewing Snapchat Stories, Spotlights (user generated content) and related content from the app. , and over 85 percent of Snapchatters in India use Lenses to express themselves visually during the festive months.
The company has started partnering with merchants in India to build a local e-commerce ecosystem in the country on top of its augmented reality enabled apps.
“As the Snapchat community continues to grow in India, Snap is building its team and growing its operations with a variety of roles to better serve the Indian Snapchat community,” the statement said.
