Solve for Tomorrow: Samsung India announces top 10 teams of Solve for Tomorrow 2023 – Times of India

Samsung organizes a national education and innovation competition — ‘fix for tomorrow‘ In the country in May this year. The company has now announced the top 10 teams of the competition.
These 10 teams are working on a range of topics ranging from turning seawater into drinkable water, identifying pests and diseases in crops, eliminating food waste, cleaning up beaches, developing a more sustainable leather tanning process, and providing greater access to persons with hearing loss. Came up with ideas to solve real world problems. , The top 10 teams come from cities like Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh, Lakhimpur and Golaghat in Assam, Darjeeling in West Bengal, Surat and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Ernakulam, Chennai and Delhi in Kerala.
How the teams were shortlisted
after a boot camp IIT DelhiTop 10 teams of Solve for Tomorrow 2023 were selected. As part of their recognition, these teams got the opportunity to tour various Samsung India offices, including its R&D center, design center and the Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru. During their visit, they participated in interactive sessions with Samsung employees and researchers and gained valuable information and experiences.
During the bootcamp, Samsung, along with its partners FITT and MeitY Startup Hub, provided mentorship to the teams, helping them refine their ideas. Additionally, each team received INR 20,000 to develop an initial prototype and had the opportunity to present their concepts to a jury consisting of young Samsung employees.
As a sign of appreciation for their participation, each team member was awarded Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 laptop and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro with certificates acknowledging their presence at the bootcamp.
