Sonakshi Sinha was first approached for Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Good Luck Jerry’ – Times of India

Janhvi Kapoor’s look from the recently released poster of his new film ‘good luck jerry‘ has already got everyone excited. Be it Janhvi looking at the camera holding a gun or the actress innocently peeping into the camera, her character’s new look in the film created a lot of buzz.

According to the latest reports, while the expectations are already high, Jhanvi was not the first choice for ‘Good Luck Jerry’. in the beginning Sonakshi Sinha was contacted for this Sidharth Sengupta Direction which is a Hindi remake of Nayantara2018 Tamil hit ‘Kolmavu Nightingale’. There is also a strong buzz that Sonakshi had reportedly given her consent after watching the original film, but that did not materialise.

However, due to persistent delays, the director eventually backed out and Sidharth joined the team at the behest of producer Aanand L Rai. And after this, the filmmakers brought in Janhvi.

‘Good Luck Jerry’ will release on July 29 on an OTT giant.

Set in Punjab, the film has been written by Pankaj Matta. It also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashisht, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Janhvi’s lineup of films includes ‘Dostana 2’, ‘Mili’ and ‘Bawal’. The actress was last seen as a co-star in the horror-comedy ‘Roohi’ Rajkumar Rao and Varun Sharma.
