Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan are one of the most popular actor-director pairs of the industry. Every time, this duo collaborates, there’s immense excitement – after what they’ve done with ‘Maine Pyar Kiya‘, ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun…!’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’. Sooraj and Salman had collaborated last on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ which released in 2015.
A while ago, Sooraj had announced that Prem will be back.Rumours have been rife for a while that Khan is collaborating with Sooraj for a massive family drama where Salman will be playing a mature character. However, the filmmaker has now finally confirmed this news. Barjatya told in a chat with India Today that he is starting this film with Salman, mid-next year. The reason he is starting next year is because when he becomes a director, he gets selfish. He writes the films he makes, himself and takes his own time. This time around, he’s even more cautious about what he’s writing because he’s collaborating with Salman after a while. Hence, Barjatya wants to make sure that it’s something special.
Khan too had mentioned that he’s quite excited to collaborate with Sooraj again. Infact, Sooraj had confessed that Salman also wanted to be part of his last directorial, ‘Uunchai’. Meanwhile, at the moment, Salman is working on director Vishnu Vardhan‘s next big actioner. Post which, he will be getting into the promotions of ‘Tiger 3‘. It is being said that after completing Vishnu’s film, he will be shooting for ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan’ and then this film with Sooraj.
The fans will now get to see Khan next in ‘Tiger 3’ which is set to release this Diwali.
