Sooraj Pancholi is all set to feature in a documentary on Jiah Khan.

Sooraj Pancholi in his recent conversation revealed that he will never participate in any reality show and he is ready to work in a documentary on Jiah Khan.

After getting acquitted in Jiah Khan suicide case, there were rumors that Sooraj Pancholi might now participate in Bigg Boss OTT 2. But as we all know, Sooraj did not participate in the popular reality show hosted by Salman Khan. And now, the actor has clarified that he will never participate in reality shows. However, if a documentary is made on Jiah Khan’s case in future, he would like to tell his side of the story.

Talking to Bombay Times, Sooraj insisted that he will never participate in reality shows and his focus is solely on films and web series. He shared, “I will never do a reality show. I was not contacted by them either. It’s not something I would do, even though I know it has a huge audience. In the past I have lost acting opportunities due to travel restrictions and a sword hanging over my head.

When asked if a documentary was made about Jiah Khan, would he like to tell his side of the story. He immediately said, “If it happens, I’d love to be a part of it because I can say things that haven’t been said yet.”

Sooraj Pancholi was acquitted by the special CBI court in Jiah Khan’s death case citing lack of evidence against him. In June 2013, Khan was found hanged at their home by his mother, Rabia Khan. After Jiah’s death, her mother accused Sooraj and his family of ‘misbehaving’ with Jiah. After this, a case of abetment to suicide was registered against him.

After the verdict, Sooraj revealed that apart from his family, it was Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who stood by him. He further explained how he had first messaged Salman after walking out of the court on April 28, 2023, after the verdict. “He was the first person I texted as soon as I left the court. He told me, ‘Sooraj, if you know in your heart that you have done nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about’, Sooraj told Bombay Times.
