SpiceJet: Rescheduling and delay of SpiceJet flights a concern for passengers – Times of India

A spicejet Delhi to Pune flight (SG185) was delayed by over 7 hours on Wednesday leaving many passengers disappointed.
The flight, which was supposed to take off at 9:20 am, was rescheduled thrice by the airline and boarding finally started at around 5:40 am. “They first rescheduled it to 2:50 pm and then to 5:15 pm. After this it was further delayed till 6 pm. All my official plans are now in jeopardy because of that and now I have to stay in Pune for an extra day.” Rakesh Kumarsaid one flyer.
Several SpiceJet flights are registering long delays in several sectors. The airline is facing problems due to grounding of several of its aircraft.

Not only domestic but international flights of the airline are also getting affected. Passengers said flights from Pune to Dubai and vice versa were facing delays and rescheduling almost every day.
Recently the airline said that by June they intend to bring back 25 of their aircraft by June 15. The airline later said that four of these aircraft would arrive by June 15. The airline also announced two international In summer flights and some domestic flights too.
A message was sent to an airline spokesperson for comment but a reply was awaited.
