Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh will star in a new Star Trek spin-off series titled “Section 31,” reprising her role as Emperor Philip Georgiou.

StarTrek.com quoted Michelle Yeoh as saying, “I am so thrilled to be returning to my Star Trek family and to the role that I have loved for so long.” “Section 31 has been near and dear to my heart ever since I embarked on the journey of playing Philippa since the beginning of this new Golden Age of Star Trek.”
Executive producer Alex Kurtzman noted Yoh’s groundbreaking role in the first season of Star Trek: Discovery, where she played one of the first two women on screen, and praised Yoh for bringing Georgiou to life.
Paramount Streaming Chief Marketing Officer Dominic DiMellio expressed his excitement to welcome Yoh back and for fans to see what this special film schedule has in store.
