Shettar said: “The eatery has been built in boys’ hostels for Rs 1.5 crore. Recommendation will be made for development of one acre of land adjacent to the hostel. This is a 25 year old hostel. More than 200 students can study. Hostel is also useful for students going to college and for higher studies. Hubli-Dharwad city has developed in the field of education, so many students from different districts rush to study here. Emphasis will be given on development of hostels.
