Stephen King’s Tweets About Using Soap Bars and Desis Have Some Hilarious Reactions

Author Stephen King recently took to his official Twitter handle to tweet and asked people a simple question that most people would have wondered at some point in their lives. Surprisingly, the tweet went viral within hours and garnered thousands of responses. His tweet is about the use of soap bar. “Is it possible to use a bar of soap completely? Until it disappears? Discuss and get back to me,” wrote the author. Have a look at the tweet:

Since being uploaded, the tweet has garnered nearly 150K likes. “I use a large ceramic coffee mug, bar until too small to hold, pour into mug, add a splash of water, work into lather with an old fashioned barber’s brush And shave with lather, never bought shaving cream, keep adding to mug as needed. All times completely used!” commented a Twitter user. Another person wrote, “Hi Stephen I was once washing my back passage with a 7 month old royal leather bar of soap so it was quite small and I managed to slip down my bottom and it never came back out, Hope this helps.”

One person wrote, “It is totally possible to use up a bar of soap; I do this sometimes (but only when I’m out of soap). Once I see that there is very little left, I wrap my bath sponge around it, add water and use both at the same time. Any little left over is mostly used on my hair or face.”

Here are some responses:

Meanwhile, earlier, the author grabbed headlines for his exchange with Twitter chief Elon Musk. “in my point of view Elon Musk is visionary. Almost single-handedly, he has changed the way Americans think about the automobile. I have a Tesla and love it. That said, he’s a terrible fit for Twitter. Looks like he’s making strides,” King tweeted. Musk wasn’t intimidated by the criticism.

“Suggestions welcome sir. [King],” he tweeted back with a crown emoji. “The goal is a credible digital town square where a wide range of ideas are tolerated, provided people don’t break the law or spam. For example, any incitement to violence will result in account suspension,” he said.

When a Twitter user suggested that Musk shouldn’t listen to King, the new Twitter owner replied, “Stephen King is one of the most creative people on Earth. While I may not agree with everything he says, I Really want to hear it.”
