Stone: Stone hit the windshield of a bus on the Nag-Mum Expressway, one injured. Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: A strange incident was witnessed on Saturday in a bus going to Mumbai on the Samruddhi Highway in which a Stone The car crashed through the windscreen to hit a passenger sitting next to the driver. The incident took place near Vanoja village in Washim district.
The bus, which started from Nagpur, was passing through a wildlife crossing when the incident took the victim and the vehicle crew by surprise.
Prima facie, the bus driver and others in the cabin claimed that the stone flew in the direction of the bus from the over bridge, which is used by wildlife to cross. The mystery deepens as there are high view-cutter perimeter walls on either side of the bridge used by wildlife.
After parking the bus on the roadside, the driver informed the control room, after which the Highway Safety Patrol (HSPA)hspPolice reached the spot.
SP Highway Safety Patrol (HSP) Yashwant Solankhe Said that the police immediately started searching in the surrounding areas, but no one was found.
“Police visited Vanoja village and surrounding areas for investigation. Village heads, local committee members and others were contacted. No one could share any information about any robber or dacoit gang operating on Samriddhi Highway,” Solankhe said.
He also said that when some heavy animals tried to cross the road above, there is a possibility that the stone might have fallen down from the bridge.
