Mahathug Sanjay Rai Sherpuria is trapped in a deal worth Rs 6 crore with a big industrialist from Delhi. Sanjay had taken the contract to get the industrialist’s case/investigation cleared by the Central Investigation Agency. Central Investigation Agency and Noida STF came to know about this. Collected evidence after investigating and nabbed him from Vibhutikhand area on Tuesday.
A case was registered on the Tahrir of the STF Inspector under the section of cheating, preparing and using forged documents. Now its history is being investigated. Many big personalities have also come under the scanner. Sanjay Rai is basically a resident of Ghazipur district.
Presently he lives in Delhi. There has been big business in Gujarat. It has network in UP, Delhi and Gujarat. According to STF sources, industrialist Gaurav Dalmiya is being investigated by the Central Investigation Agency. Gaurav came in contact with Sanjay Rai through someone. Sanjay Rai claimed that he would get the Central Investigation Agency’s case cleared.
For this, he made a deal of six crores with Gaurav. This amount reached Sanjay. Since the Central Investigation Agency was already active in the episode, it got wind of it. Noida unit of STF was also informed. STF investigated at its level. Extracted the details of Sanjay Rai’s bank accounts. After that the search started. After making the arrest, STF Inspector Sachin registered the case.
