Pune: A computer science student lost Rs 3.56 lakh between May 3 and 8 after falling prey to the online ‘press like karo aur paise kamao’ scam.
Kothrud The police registered the FIR on Wednesday after the Pune Cyber Police verified their complaint.

According to the police, after this the student replied to this message thinking that he would earn good money. The fraudsters sent him links to several videos which he liked. However, they did not pay him anything but shared a webpage which showed his work and payment in front of his name. Eventually, they asked him to do prepaid work for more profit. The student agreed and transferred Rs 3.56 lakh to the e-wallet.
