Police sources revealed that the clash broke out after some students had an argument over entry into the lift. University administration officials intervened and prevented the incident from getting out of hand.

According to the police, the incident took place on Tuesday, April 25, between first year and second year students of the university.
“There was a clash between first and second year students on Tuesday. Some students involved in the incident have been suspended by the university administration. We have not received any complaint in this regard but the college administration is in touch.” a senior officer of Dankaur police station told TOI.
The official further said that the parents of the students have also been called by the administration.
“We have found that there was a scuffle between the students over entering the lift,” the officer said.
The university administration could not be immediately contacted for comment.
