Mysuru: The Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) Party is contesting in the Lok Sabha elections and has fielded 19 candidates in Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters, party state committee member B Ravi said that the BJP-led NDA government, which has been ruling the country for the past 10 years, has ruined the lives of people. Issues like price rise, unemployment, and corruption are not being discussed, and today India ranks at the bottom of the global hunger index, he said.
People’s voices should be heard during the election against communal and capitalist policies, and he requested voters to support their party candidates TR Sunil in Mysuru and S Suma in Chamarajanagar.Across India, the party is fielding about 151 candidates.
