Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Murder Case: How suspects fled after murdering Karni outfit chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi in Jaipur | Jaipur News – Times of India

After pumping bullets into Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi at his house in Jaipur on Tuesday, the two shooters—identified as Rohit Singh Shekhawat and Nitin Fauji—fled. The following is the route the duo took and the activities they engaged in, as per police:

  • The accused duo fled from Gogamedi’s house and ran to Kishan Jan Path at Shyam Nagar, where they robbed a man, identified as Hemraj, of his two-wheeler by firing at him. Hemraj is currently under treatment.

  • Before this, the accused duo attempted to rob a car by firing at it but failed.

  • From Jan Path, the two gunmen on bike raced towards the road in front of Shyam Nagar police station.

  • The duo then sped away towards Nirman Nagar, from where they headed towards Rani Sati Nagar through different paths.

  • They raced through residential colonies and alleys to arrive near Kiran Palace Hotel near Ajmer Road.

  • The accused duo parked the two-wheeler near a car showroom and boarded an auto-rickshaw from Ajmer Road.

Five bullets

  • As per the preliminary probe by police, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi received as many as five bullets and was wounded on his head, chest and abdomen. Various types of bullets were recovered from the murder scene. Several metallic pieces were also found there.

  • The bullets recovered include: 9 mm calibre 7.62×25 mm cartridge 8 mm calibre.
