In an interview with Mashable India, Sunny was asked if the stories about people being fed at his house, as if it was a gurdwara, were true.Nodding in agreement, the actor said that the kitchen runs 24 hours a day at their house. According to the actor, it has been like that since his grandmother’s time.
Sunny was further asked about his older son Karan’s recent wedding to Drisha Acharya, and if it was a typical Punjabi wedding, Sunny said that it was actually like that and it was like the alcohol tap was always open. Sunny also shared that he thoroughly enjoyed preparing for the wedding and even danced to the song ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ from the movie ‘Gadar.’
Despite that Sunny expressed that he is not a drinker, and he doesn’t comprehend how people can tolerate alcohol. He said that it is not that he hasn’t tried. The actor revealed that when he went to England, he drank to fit in, but he never understood it. According to him, it is bitter, has a foul smell, and gives you a headache.
