Sunny Leone walks the red carpet for the midnight screening of Kennedy at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

Sunny Leone made her debut with Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2. Then he worked in films like Jackpot, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela and others. The celebrated actress who has paved her way in Bollywood has faced her share of struggles. In a recent conversation, the actress who made her debut at Cannes Film Festival 2023 on Wednesday shared that being ‘fashionable’ on the red carpet is not a part of her agenda.

Speaking about the same, Sunny Leone told Film Companion, “I have serious anxiety, meaning serious. It’s not that I haven’t walked the red carpet before, I think it’s (the pressure) because it’s me and nothing else. The feeling behind this particular film, the feeling that it’s been chosen by such a distinguished group of jurors and that[Kennedy]made it and they appreciated it and said, ‘Yeah, we want your film to be part of this festival. Be a part ‘ It means so much.

He also explained, “What I find very strange is the first question people ask is, ‘What are you going to wear?’ I don’t know, I’m going to dress? I don’t know what it is. There is always a need for one to be like this or be like that. My main goal in this whole process is to maintain as much as I can, Who I am and how I feel I should look beautiful not what other people think I should wear. I hope that comes across and translates to, ‘We know this is Sunny’s comfort zone’ I am and she is feeling great. I know that if I feel good in what I’m wearing, I’ll feel confident.”

On the work front, she has collaborated with Anurag Kashyap in his upcoming crime actioner Kennedy. Even before its theatrical release, the film created a lot of headlines after it was selected for screening at the Cannes Film Festival.
