The newly arrived South Africans will present a selection headache for both the camps but Sunrisers Hyderabad will be more than eager to welcome them when they take on Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium here on Friday.

The trio of skipper Aiden Markram, Henrik Klaasen and Marco Jansen will give Sunrisers the much-needed ammunition to seriously challenge the Supergiants.

The Super Giants will look to capitalize on the home advantage after a poor performance against spin in their last match against Chennai Super Kings.

revelation

Kyle Mayer has been a revelation as an opener but skipper KL Rahul hasn’t been firing and his team needs to improve their middle-overs batting to put up a challenging total against Sunrisers.

The availability of Quinton de Kock will result in a change in the batting order.

Mark Wood and Ravi Bishnoi were exceptional but the other bowlers will need to put in a more disciplined effort.

Sunrisers looked poor against Rajasthan Royals but the team has put behind this bad defeat and is ready to face the Super Giants in their backyard.

Captain Markram said it was important to repeat the good performance his team did in the first match and play positively against the Lucknow side.

Sunrisers’ bowling was mediocre for the most part of Royal’s innings but T. Natarajan and Fazalhaq Farooqui’s teasing spells at the death would give hope to the visitors. Markram would also like to see a more stimulating response from his batsmen after his timid approach against the Royals.

Harry Brooks struggled against the Royals but his team wanted him to get on top quickly against the Super Giants.
