The controversy over Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is not taking its name. With each passing day, different people are leveling new allegations against each other. The show’s operations head Sohil Ramani recently accused Jennifer Mistry of sexual harassment. Now Mistry has reacted to Ramani’s statement.

Jennifer Mistry accuses Sohil Ramani of ‘misbehavior’

Jennifer, who used to play the role of Mrs Roshan Sodhi in TMKOC, reacted to Ramani’s words and accused her of ‘harassing, shouting and abusing’. He also argued that he has phone call recordings in support of his claims.

“Some things happened here and there and when I tried to raise my voice against it, I was silenced. Apart from this, the only problem I faced was in January 2013, when they called me back four days after my father’s death. But that was all. The problems started after October 2018 and the incident of Asit sexually assaulting me was around March 2019. I have phone call recordings of Sohil harassing me, shouting and abusing me,” Jennifer was quoted as saying by India Today.

Sohil Ramani: ‘I was just doing my job’

Jennifer’s words come a day after Sohil Ramani reacted to her sexual harassment allegations and termed them as baseless. “I don’t understand what he has a grudge against me. I was just doing my job. As per company protocol, when she left the set unannounced for personal reasons, I did what I had to do. He also misbehaved,” he told Hindustan Times.

Ramani even claimed that no one ever scolded Jennifer Mistry on the sets of TMKOC and termed her allegations as a PR stunt. “Just understood with love. When repetitions started, we scolded. So, all this is nothing but a publicity stunt,” said Sohil.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most successful shows on television which has been running for more than 15 years.
