‘Tameez se…’: Drunk man enters women compartment in Delhi metro; here’s what happened next | Delhi News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Despite the knowledge among Delhi Metro commuters that the first coach in the moving direction is designated for women, men routinely encroach upon this space.
At times, men comply and vacate the designated coach when reminded, while in other instances, it results in confrontations.
The issue has again surfaced after a X user shared a video on the social media.

The video, which has now gone viral, shows a drunk man inside the women’s compartment, sparking concerns about safety. The caption of the post reads, “Short Kalesh inside Delhi Metro between a Guy and Ladies over that guy was sitting inside Ladies Coach.”
Netizens were shocked and outraged after watching the clip, but what triggered the most concern was the behavior of the man. He was heard repeatedly saying “tameez se bol” (speak politely) as he continued to behave inappropriately towards women passengers.
A user in the comments pointed out: “He is drunk and I don’t know why the metro allows people who are drunk or look like this.”
“The man looks ready to fight, which is scary,” another user said.
The date and location of the video are not confirmed yet.
