Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin revealed two on Saturday Secret of success To students Inaugurating “College Dream”, a career guidance program for class XII students, in Chennai.
“Choosing the field that we love the most and hard work are the two important factors to become successful. These two factors come to the fore when we see successful people all over the world,” Stalin told the students.
He asked the students and parents of Tamil Nadu to look beyond engineering and medicine while choosing a career.
“Engineering and Medicine are the best courses. But we should not stop dreaming about these two courses alone as there are abundant opportunities available in other fields like arts, science and law,” Stalin said.
“If we select the top 100 colleges in the country, 30 are from Tamil Nadu. Hence, there are many opportunities to study in colleges. But those with unique skills alone can shine after graduation,” he said.
He said that the top achievers of the state like former President APJ Abdul Kalam, former ISRO scientist Mylaswamy Annadurai, former ISRO chairman K Sivan, Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu and DGP C Silendra Babu study in government schools. “These are examples of government school students who study in Tamil medium and achieve success,” he said.
Career guidance programs under Nan Mudhalvan Yojana will be organized in all the districts from 29th June to 2nd July.
