The incident took place when the minister was overseeing the arrangements for a program on Wednesday where Chief Minister MK Stalin is scheduled to participate.

Tamil Nadu’s Milk and Dairy Development Minister SM Nasar is facing fresh scrutiny after a video of him throwing stones at DMK party workers went viral on social media on Tuesday.

The minister was apparently angry with party workers for taking time to bring a chair during an event in Tiruvallur and threw stones at him.

In a video that later went viral on social media, DMK functionaries close to the minister are heard laughing during the incident.

The incident happened when the minister was overseeing arrangements for a public meeting on Wednesday where Chief Minister MK Stalin is scheduled to participate as part of DMK’s ‘Veera Vanakkam Naal’.

According to sources, the minister was overseeing arrangements at a venue in Tiruvallur where Chief Minister MK Stalin was to attend a public function to honor those martyred during the anti-Hindi agitation on Wednesday as part of the DMK’s ‘Veera Vanakkam Naal’ programme.
