Tata Passenger Electric Mobility partners with Shell India to install EV charging stations – Times of India

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) on Thursday said it has partnered with Shell India Markets to install public EV charging stations across the country. TPEM, in a statement, said that its data of over 1.4 lakh Tata EVs along with Shell’s extensive fuel station network will help them to set up EV charging facility at locations frequently visited by EV owners.
“Through this partnership, we aim to grow the existing charging infrastructure, which is crucial for mainstream adoption of EVs in the country, particularly as the customer base continues to expand,” TPEM chief strategy officer Balaje Rajan said.
Shell India Markets director Sanjay Varkey said the company is working to come up with integrated solutions that focus on convenience, safety, and sustainability to enhance EV charging experience.
