Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan’s doctor came to the fore after she treated a co-passenger on a flight from New Delhi to Hyderabad on Friday night.
Dr. Sundararajan, who was returning from Varanasi to Hyderabad via New Delhi, responded to an SOS announcement given by the Indigo Airlines flight crew and immediately swung into action and provided the Golden Hour treatment.
The passenger complained of severe chest pain and various complications. The passengers aboard the aircraft appreciated the efforts of the Governor and thanked him wholeheartedly. Some passengers were seen taking photographs and uploading them on social media platforms.
Dr. Sundararajan, who is also the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, was a gynecologist before joining politics. She lost to DMK candidate MK Kanimozhi on a BJP ticket in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
