Boycott of Mudiraj community.

The judge passed the order while hearing a writ petition filed by members of the Mudiraj community in the village, who alleged that the VDC, headed by Mr. Kumar, threatened them and their entire community by denying them permission for sand mining from their Peddamma temple. Was socially boycotted for. Store the land and premises in the village. He claimed that the temple was built by his community on land allotted to them by the gram panchayat.

A vacation bench of the HC had earlier directed the secretary of the Nizamabad District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) to file a report on the matter. According to this report, the VDC had heavily boycotted the Mudiraj community. “Though the police and revenue authorities have declared that there is no such boycott, the boycott continues at present,” the DLSA secretary’s report said. Based on this, the Vacation Court Judge directed the authorities to take action against the persons responsible for the social boycott.

Subsequently, the Tehsildar submitted a report to the HC, stating that everything is back to normal in Ramannapet village and there has been no social boycott of the Mudiraj community. However, the counsel for the petitioners, Ramesh Chilla, strongly opposed the Tehsildar’s report, arguing that the contents of the report were far from the truth. Mr. Ramesh argued that social exclusion still continues in Ramnapet village. He also told the court that the VDC has decided to take back the land leased to the Mudiraj community.

After hearing the counsel’s submissions, the judge ordered the VDC chairman to be present on Monday.
