In Maharashtra, a man in an inebriated condition carried a traffic policeman on the bonnet of his car for nearly 10 km. The incident took place on Saturday at around 2 pm, the constable stood in front of the car for checking and tried to stop the car, but instead of stopping the car driver kept roaming around with the constable on the bonnet. This whole incident has been captured in CCTV.
Constable Siddheshwar Mali was checking vehicles at a check post in Navi Mumbai. Aditya Bembade came out from there around 2 pm, Siddheshwar signaled him to stop the car. When Aditya did not stop the vehicle, Siddheshwar started chasing him on the bike.
The constable signaled the car driver to stop for checking, but he took the policeman on the bonnet and roamed 10KM.
After this, the constable overtook Aditya’s car at the Vashi intersection and stood in front of the car and then tried to stop the car. This time, instead of stopping the car, Aditya carried the constable on the bonnet and kept driving for 10KM. Meanwhile, another police vehicle chased Aditya and stopped him near Gavan Phata of Uran Naka.
Police officials told that during the investigation it has been found that Aditya was under the influence of drugs. At present, he is in police custody, a case has been registered against him for trying to kill a policeman and consuming drugs.
