Director of kerala story, Sudipto Sen Has been admitted to the hospital. But there is nothing to worry about. We spoke to the director on Saturday morning.
Sudipto says, “I am admitted to Kokilaben Hospital for dehydration and infection. But now it is all under control. I am likely to be discharged today. I am going to request the doctor to let me go home.
All the excitement seems to have gone up during the last weeks with Sudipto.
He admitted that he is not overwhelmed by the staggering box office figures. “I still wish more people would see The Kerala Story. I want the message to go out as far as possible. I want at least ten percent of the Indian population in the world to watch my film. Only then would I consider it a real success.
So are box office numbers not important for Sudipto? “Money is definitely important, but I didn’t think about it when I started working on this topic. Believe me, for nine years or so, I woke up every morning disappointed that I couldn’t do anything. I am unable
Sudipto has special words of thanks for his maker Vipul Shah, He said, ‘The box office news gives me satisfaction that Vipulji got his money back. He took a big risk. He deserves a lot. Money won’t change me at all. I have to fight for my next film in the same way and will continue to fight.
Of course, making a blockbuster has its advantages. “Yeah, life will be a little more comfortable now. But I am a small town boy… I am the son of the mountain, I cannot be happy with so little.
