Bhopal: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh A farmers’ meeting in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh on Tuesday targeted the Congress, calling its leaders ‘seasonal Hindus’ and accusing them of misleading the country.
“Some people in the Congress have become ‘Mausami Hindus’ (seasonal Hindus) and are demonstrating narmada aarti, I want to ask him why didn’t you remember Narmada ji earlier? Why now? it was the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan who declared Narmada ji a living entity,” Singh said.
Singh did not name AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhiwho launched Congress election campaign in MP A day ago, along with Narmada Puja, five ‘guarantees’ were given to the people. A replica of Lord Hanuman’s mace was seen at his rally.
Singh said on Tuesday, “Now they are carrying Hanuman ji’s mace in their meetings and programs. Earlier they used to shy away from taking the names of Ram and Hanuman.”
Singh said, “The Congress is talking about five guarantees to mislead the public. Many announcements were made in Kamal Nath ji’s government, none of them were fulfilled. Now the Congress is again talking about guarantees.”
