‘Thor: Love & Thunder’ box office collection Day 6: Chris Hemsworth starrer towards Rs 100 cr – Times of India

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is doing a business of Rs 100 crore despite seeing a drop in collections on its first Tuesday.

The Marvel superhero film earned an estimated Rs 4-4.25 crore on Tuesday, taking its total collection to an estimated Rs 74 crore.

According to the report of Boxofficeindia.com, the film may end its first week with a collection of around Rs 81-82 crore. If the film maintains a strong hold in its second weekend, then it will cross the Rs 100 crore mark in the coming days.

The lack of competition will ensure that the business remains healthy on its second Saturday and Sunday.

According to the latest reports, filmmaker Taika Waititi left a ton of surprises in the editing room, including productions Lena Headey, Jeff Goldblum And Peter Dinklage, In an Insider report, the director shot scenes with two of the “Game of Thrones” stars but dropped them because they weren’t “good enough”.

“I wrote this thing because it’s a little bit of a challenge when you cut something because you’re like, ‘Am I not that good? Should I have seen this coming?’ But for every film I have done, I have probably cut the same amount,” Waititi recently told the portal.

“You never know when you go into editing. A scene can be the funniest or most interesting thing on its own, but sometimes those things will put the movie on hold if you keep them. So you have to Do what’s best for the film.”

“And if you ask any of those actors, who are Jeff Goldblum, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, they all understand how it works,” the director continued. “They’ve been in the game for a long time. But that’s the way I look at things.”

Waititi will not reveal anything about the scenes in which Heady, goldblum Or Dinklage appeared, saying: “I’m not going to give you a moment because that’s my way of telling you. I don’t want people to see deleted scenes because they’re deleted for some reason: they’re not Quite good. The movie didn’t have scenes and that’s it.”

Heady’s cut role in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ resulted in a $1.5 million lawsuit by his former UK agency over unpaid commission charges. The actress reportedly earned $7 million for the role that didn’t make it to the final cut.
