Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 1: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi starrer Tiger 3 has recorded an impressive opening day collection. Released on Diwali 2023, Tiger 3 marked the third film in the Tiger franchise and fifth in the expanding Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe. With the film recieving mostly positive reviews, Tiger 3 has reportedly collected Rs 44.50 crores on day 1, across languages.

According to Sacnilk.com, Tiger 3 witnessed a 41.32% occupancy in the Hindi screenings. While the morning show witnessed 36.55% occupancy, the night shows recorded the best occupancy in the day, with 46.18%. Mumbai contributed the highest in terms of occupancy while NCR, Pune and Bengaluru followed in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots. It has also been reported that Tiger 3 has been released on 5500 screens in India while the overseas count stands at 3400.

Tiger 3 is set after the events of War and Pathaan. News18 gave Tiger 3 a 3.5 rating in our review and wrote, “Salman Khan effectively becomes a superman or like he had once mentioned ‘Sal-man.’ He is every bit the superhero in Tiger 3 that his fans have been waiting with bated breath for this entire year. Whatever Salman-ness his fans have been deprived of, this film pours on them in abundance. It goes without saying that Katrina is breathtakingly beautiful, and with Tiger 3, she ups her glam factor even more. Her appearance is breathtaking, but she also performs some daring stunts that nearly take her life. She is fierce, bold, and smart.”

The film has cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, both of which were revealed previously. Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma and has been written by Aditya Chopra. The film is expected to pave the way for War 2 and the rumoured Tiger vs Pathaan spy film. Besides these two, YRF is also reportedly working on other spy movies, one of which is a standalone female spy film headlined by Alia Bhatt.
