Tiger ‘Vaiga’ to be shifted from Neyyar to Puthur on Saturday Thiruvananthapuram News – Times of India

Thrissur: A tiger will be shifted from Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary Thrissur Zoological Parkcoming on Puthur near OllurSaturday gave a strong indication that this dream project is closer to reality.

He said both the tigers would be initially kept at ‘isolation and quarantine’ centers at Chandankunnu close to Puthur and would eventually be shifted to regular enclosures after monitoring their health.
The Rs 306 crore park will house 415 animals and birds of 67 species and will also include some rare categories.
