Tiruppur: Four arrested for sexually abusing 2 minor girls | Coimbatore News – Times of India

Tirupur: Two minor girls were sexually abused by the 50-year-old lover of two minor girls and their mother in the district. Police on Friday arrested the trio and their mother, who posed indecently for her boyfriend during a video call.
Dharapuram The all-women police said the woman’s husband had died a few years back and she was living with her two daughters and a son.
“A resident of Tiruppur, developed a relationship with in your body, 37, of Tirunelveli, and moved in with him along with their children. The relationship developed with the woman when he fell ill and was admitted to the government hospital in Thoothukudi suresh50, a local resident,” said a police officer.
The woman ended her relationship with Muthupandi and returned to Tiruppur. However, she continues her affair with Suresh. “They used to make video calls frequently and she made her daughters pose indecently on the request of her lover,” the officer said.
He said that the woman was not taking care of her daughters properly. “They were not even fed properly. Meanwhile, two minor boys sexually assaulted her by alluring her.
According to the official, the matter came to light a month back when the government school, where the girls were studying, questioned their absence from school. The headmaster of the school informed the social welfare officials of Tirupur district, who lodged a complaint with the police.
The Dharapuram all-women police conducted an investigation and registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and various sections Indian Penal Code,
“The four were arrested yesterday (Friday). The juveniles were sent to an observation home in Coimbatore, while the victim girls were sent to a government home in Tiruppur under the care of the Child Welfare Committee. Suresh and the girls’ mother were lodged in the jail under judicial custody,” the official said.
