Neha Mehta aka Anjali Bhabhi
Neha Mehta left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah two years ago in 2020. She played the role of Anjali Taarak Mehta for 12 years before saying goodbye to the show. Recently, the actress claimed that she is yet to get her dues for the past few months working in TMKOC. However, the makers denied saying that they have approached him several times for a final settlement. He also revealed that Neha is yet to complete her formalities.
TMKOC makers issue statement
Neha, who was paired opposite Shailesh Lodha (Taarak Mehta) on the show, had earlier revealed that she is yet to get her dues. Responding to her claims, an official statement was issued by the production house which read, “We consider our artist as our family. We have approached Neha Mehta several times to complete the formalities.”
“Unfortunately, she has been reluctant to sign the exit documents without which we cannot have a full and final agreement as per company policy. She also stopped responding to all our communications for the past two years and she left the show without meeting us. We wish she would have replied to our emails instead of making false allegations about the producers who have given her 12 years of fame and career. Neha Mehta’s statement
The actress, who is affectionately called Anjali Bhabhi, told ETimes, “I starred as Anjali in Taarak Mehta for 12 years before leaving in 2020. The money is pending for the last six months. After leaving the show, I Called them several times about my pending dues. I don’t like to complain… hope, there will be a solution soon and I will get my hard earned money.” Meanwhile, the actress was replaced by Sunayna Fozdar.
