1. A day after polling for the Karnataka Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India will release the final voter turnout percentage in Karnataka and in individual constituencies today. Till late on Wednesday, the polling percentage was close to 73%, with the Bengaluru constituency lagging behind the rest of the state.

2. With the results to be announced on Saturday May 13, all political party leaders are on tenterhooks, especially with exit polls emerging out of different scenarios. While all give an edge to the Congress, many also predict a hung assembly.

3. Many workers had gone out of cities like Bengaluru and Mysore to campaign for various parties and to vote in their native villages. Many of them are expected to return to cities to resume work from today, while some may stay till the results are out.

4. Bengaluru-based Mahiti Hakku Adhyayan Kendra has written to the Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, about the closure of the Integrated Finance Management Services (IFMS) portal for citizens and ₹1,000 crore released to contractors Without uploading any information on IFMS portal. It is alleged that in violation of the rules, the portal has been closed for public viewing.

5. Rain has been predicted in many parts of Karnataka.
