Belagavi Meaning: In fierce form ‘Rope’ between tractors There was chaos in a village in Karnataka, threatening the safety of a mob of people nearby, a viral video showed.
The visual footage showed tractors driving at high speed in the opposite direction in Chamkeri village of Athani taluk of the district on Wednesday.
Suddenly, the front of a tractor lifted, came dangerously close to the villagers, who had gotten around the game before the driver could balance and lean back to normal in the midst of worrying moments.
The police have taken cognizance of the game organized in the village fair and registered a case against some local leaders and organisers.
Fortunately, there were no untoward incidents, but the police conceded that if things had gone out of hand, there could have been casualties. “We have registered a case against the community leaders, the organizers of the event and the tractor driver for endangering the lives of the people,” a police officer told PTI.
