Hubli: Member of Super Market Chikk Vartakara SanghaJanata Bazaar demanded that the government should expedite the works of the market complex being built in Channamma circle.
While submitting a memorandum to the HDMC commissioner here on Wednesday, he said that his family is dependent on business in Janta Bazar for three-four decades.
“We are making a living by selling vegetables, fruits, flowers, puja material, groceries and other items in the Janta Bazar. Our regular life is heavily affected by Covid-19 for two years,” he said.
He said that he has cooperated with the officials by vacating the market. “Now we are struggling to meet our needs due to delay in construction work. Hence, we request to expedite the works and complete it by Dussehra-Deepawali so that we can resume our business during the festive season.”
