Tuticorin police firing: Why is Stalin not taking action against officers, asks Dhinakaran – Times of India

Chennai: ammk Founder TTV Dhinakaran Questioned the silence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Monday MK Stalin On the Tuticorin anti-Sterlite firing incident. In a tweet, Dhinakaran asked Stalin why action was not initiated even after the Aruna Jagadeesan Commission submitted its report.
“The commission submitted its report a year ago. No action has been initiated on the recommendations of the commission. Strict action will be taken against those who issued the order to fire and those who implemented it. But Why is he (Stalin) hesitating to act?” asked Dinakaran.
On the fifth anniversary of police firing against anti-Sterlite protesters, Dhinakaran said taking action against those responsible for the incident would be the right way to pay homage to those who lost their lives in the protest.
